I would like to thank you for visiting my Trioptron website. Trioptron is a word derived from the Greek “dioptra”, which means binoculars. In this context, the meaning of Trioptron is “seeing the world with three eyes”: what we need is insight which steps beyond what our two eyes can see...
The idea of the Third Eye is not new of course; it can be traced back to many ancient mythologies of the world. In these first years of the 21st century, however, academia in social sciences and consulting are occasionally attacked for lacking perspective and essentially recycling existing material. This is a difficult issue to tackle and certainly beyond the scope of this simple introduction. Nonetheless, insight is essential to add value and become eventually successful...
Have I achieved insightfulness in my activities? I am still relatively young and inexperienced to claim completion of such an honourable mission; moreover, it is difficult for somebody to be a good judge of themselves. Still, I thought it would be a good idea to create this web site with the aim to communicate effectively my work in tourism and air transport economics, management and development to the global audience.
